Individual contributor to Tech leader My journey from being an individual contributor to a team lead managing a group of talented individuals has been nothing short of transformative. The pivotal shift in my career trajectory is undoubtedly credited to the comprehensive MBA program I pursued with upGrad. During the program phase, I experienced a monumental transition, moving from ITC to Cognizant with a staggering 184% hike. The skills and insights gained during this time laid the foundation for what would become a remarkable career evolution. What stands out is the transition within my career phase – a shift not just in roles but in my entire professional landscape. Moving from a purely technical position to a predominantly managerial role, I found myself orchestrating teams and projects. The coaching and guidance received during my MBA played a crucial role in shaping my newfound managerial skills. This transition wasn't just about a change in responsibilities but also a significant financial leap. Going from a 26 LPA package to an impressive 39 LPA, I realized the tangible impact of upskilling and embracing managerial responsibilities within the tech domain. My journey reflects the potential for growth and advancement, showcasing the immense value of continuous learning and strategic career moves. It underscores the idea that with the right education and a proactive mindset, one can not only climb the corporate ladder but also navigate into entirely new and rewarding professional territories.

Happy with program content and career coaching support received. Program helped me see the bigger picture what I couldn't as a bachelor's pass-out because a good post graduate course can help you achieve your targets in a smarter way and present your ideas in more efficient ways. My career coach helped me transition the ways I was formulating my career objectives be it My Resume or my LinkedIn to my negotiation skills and the way I deal with some specific things. She's really a enthusiastic person who can help you achieve the zeal you been missing. She's the Jeweller who can judge a real diamond💎

upGrad helped to do MBA without taking career break and build new perspective I always felt there was something missing to break into the senior management. While experience counts but constant learning is what can take you places. Like in earlier days either you could study or work, and I chose to work. Then came Upgrad I neither had to resign nor I had travel abroad for years and invest heavily. I just wish had Upgrad been available 10 Yrs ago. Post joining the IMT LBS program my overall perspective about business changed. Thank You Upgrad for coming along this is helping people like us to fulfill their long lost dreams. Like Michelangelo had once famously said, "Ancora Imparo - Yet, I'm learning", I will also take up Phd. and never stop my learning.

This session proved instrumental in unveiling enhanced strategies for harnessing the power of LinkedIn in the pursuit of prospective opportunities, and optimizing the intricacies of the job search process. My heartfelt gratitude extends to Dr. Chinnathambi sir for graciously sharing his expertise and insights during this invaluable session.

High quality program, faculty, career coach and overall learning process Someone said, "age is merely a number". I thought let's put it to practice. When the world was reeling under COVID, I stumbled upon hope. The opportunity to enhance life's understanding came from upGrad Liverpool Business School. It came at the right time. Respite from the despair we all experienced. The merit award is merely a positive manifestation of the hope I clung to. And I sincerely wish that many professionals in their journey decide to benefit from the wonderful learning platform. I aspire to continue my learning with upGrad under teachers like Saloni Suri, Rajiv Ranjan, my thesis supervisor, Coach Gaurika Jain (ACC-ICF), and the world-class faculty under one virtual roof. United for the purpose to disseminate knowledge. Finally, remembering a wonderful friend I met Shadan Khan, who shared the news of the merit award. #LBSandupGradGraduate #learning #mba #commitment #worldclass #growthmindset Activate to view

Highly beneficial overall coaching and mentorship support received from upGrad Constant learning and upskilling myself has always been a passion. Covid along with it challenges presented an opportunity for me to take my learning goal a notch up. With the passion to pursue masters in business administration, I took the opportunity & enrolled myself in the LJMU course through upGrad. The path was not easy - I was juggling between my job , family responsibilities and learning goals. However, with God's grace, support of my family, mentors support and my grit and strong determination to give my best I have accomplished this major milestone - masters in business administration from Liverpool Business School I'm thankful to my coach Coach Gaurika Jain (ACC-ICF) for the constant support and my mentors. I take this opportunity to express my great thanks to my husband who encouraged and had always been my source of strength and inspiration. #LBSGraduate #MBA

Real life simulations & relevant career coaching & mentorship It’s special today, as I cross 80 paid students, and 400+ probono students! My milestones are precious! And I want to use this opportunity to feel joy, to celebrate, to be grateful! What does a good network do? Are networks only about finding business, getting leads, etc.? Or is there more value to them? I cherish people in my network, because they ask me the right questions! 'Why do you want to increase your business?', and not “How” is what they ask. “How will this make you happy?’, is what they ask me. Coach Gaurika Jain (ACC-ICF), today you asked me something that was on my mind, but hadn’t been articulated so directly. 'How are you applying your learnings from your MBA in the English Classes you teach?' I like to think of myself as an empathy-entrepreneur, or an intuitive-entrepreneur. Some might call me whimsical. I care little. What I care for is that I am fascinated and empowered. And that I am willing to empower others. To be accessible. 9 months ago when I set out to teach on a whim and at the behest of a friend, I did market research, internal analysis, product design, development, testing, pricing, and the whole cycle. I was cognizant, that I was applying what I had practiced at work, in life. Additionally I was aware that I had learnt and understood the same principles, in simulations during my formal education at upGrad. I am NOT a product leader (Endless people and organizations teach English and communication skills). What I am, is a leader who leads through service, empathy, and commitment. However, before I plug my work shamelessly (c’mon, itna to banta hai!), let me once more share my gratitude. 1. All my students, am grateful you trusted me. You experimented and tested my offerings. You allowed me to make mistakes, and you paid me. Online. Even when you didn’t know me. You worked with me. You won! For that I am grateful. 2. Sameer Nagpal Sir, thank you for your support, the opportunities and the listening you gave me in the very beginning. It has laid the foundation. Your support was key to taking this leap of faith. 3. Avinash Mehrotra, I am humbled that you chose to be my mentor and that you don’t give up on me. Thank you Sir. 4. Dr. Anil Ota thank you for sharing skills, for guiding my dissertation, for being approachable, throughout my time with you. 5. @Gaurika, @Tabish Khan, Kamini Thakur, am grateful to you for my user experience as a learner, for the support you offered.

Great overall program experience, faculty, mentorship from upGrad I am delighted to announce that I earned my Master of Business Administration degree from Liverpool Business School under Liverpool John Moores University with Merit. Two years of blood, sweat and tears finally paid off. I am immensely thankful to Anujaa Shukla, Brinda Sampat, PhD, Himanshu Manroa and Girish Phatak for providing me with helpful academic tips throughout my research journey, without which it would not be easy to complete the thesis. Advice given by Chris Oates has been a great help in understanding the field of research and starting this journey. I also offer special thanks to the Liverpool John Moores University faculty Beverly Dawn Metcalfe PhD, H M Belal, Ph.D, FHEA, CMBE, Matthew Tucker, Michael Drummond, Mohamed Yacine Haddoud, Rameshwar Dubey, Tunde Durowoju, CMBE, Victoria Jackson, and Hon. Vice-Chancellor Tim Nichol for guiding me in the right direction through several insightful and interactive virtual sessions. Thanks again to upGrad for providing us with a platform to learn, apply and excel. This leg of the journey was a bit more complex than the coursework one. Still, I could finally make it to the finishing line with the help of my student mentors, Aditi Paliwal and Sushmeeta Jena, programme coordinators Jolly Mongia and Jinali Shah and the entire team of upGrad, who assisted round the clock during this whole journey. My only humble request to upGrad is to make the academic research part a little more organised and effective by revising the timelines and doing away with unnecessary submissions. Rajat Gupta deserves a special mention in this note for making my life a lot easier with his suggestions and potential insights throughout my academic research. Thanks, buddy. Kudos to all my fellow batch mates, including DHRITISH ROY, Rivu Sengupta, Shailey Kadam, KOUSHIK DAS (GMBA, M.Tech. CEng MIMA) コシック ダス (NAT Q4 Qualified) for making this journey an incredible chapter of my life. I would also like to thank the LinkedIn community, connections, Professors, and Research Fellows. You really helped me with your voluntary participation in the academic research survey, which helped me gather more profound insights into my research. Lastly, my heartfelt gratitude to my thesis supervisor Dr. Aditya G. for his knowledge, encouragement, continuous support, and advice which has helped me sail through difficult times. I feel accomplished and empowered. #kudos #linkedin #liverpoolbusinessschool #ljmu #mba #managementstudies #lifelonglearning

Rewarding program experience with inspirational faculty & mentorship One of my favorite quotes is “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” — Nelson Mandela From a hesitant and lazy mind for starting something to a powerful mind that is action-oriented by developing atomic habits of change, it was definitely a challenging one. Thanks, James Clear, your book transformed me a lot. I decided to pursue an MBA from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool Business School during the start of the Pandemic. Being a full-time IT Professional was not an easy journey. Bumpy roads, multiple issues to address, and reading research papers that seem like boring activities, convincing family members why I am not there for them was all too painful, but as they say, there is no gain without pain. In the end, the result is so fruitful. With the blessing from God and all my loved ones (friends and family included), finally, the goal is achieved. Special thanks to my mentor Dr. Smitha Girija for guiding and driving me to get things done, I am sure I would have slacked off if not for her not encouraging me to stick to the timelines. I would also like to thank all others who assisted me Tim Nichol, Tunde Durowoju, CMBE, Rameshwar Dubey, Jolly Mongia, Jinali Shah, Girish Phatak Sushmeeta Jena, Vijayta Shekhawat, Pratyaksh Kulshrestha, Sheenu Bansal, ASISH THOMAS, Alvin Jacob, Shakko Mukherjee, Rahul Joseph, Jerin Raju, Saroj Katekhaye, Vaibhav Garge, ANIKET YADAV, Sreelakshmi Madhkada and finally a big shout out to upGrad for making this all possible. I urge everyone to be a learner and focus on self-development. I am ending this post with one of my favorite quotes from Michelangelo who said at the age of 87 - "I am still learning" #education #change #atomichabits #mba #ljmu #lbs #upgrad #nevergiveup #alwayslearning #diwali2022 #covid19 #research #business #development #learning #university #school
